10% of HelpVox's profit from each merchant you bring during their first 12 months, 5% after that. Profit is counted as a fixed 41% of their monthly plan price, so the amount per merchant is the same every month while their plan is active.
The 5% does not expire. It runs for as long as that merchant keeps paying, with no cap in months. Commission is computed from our published plan prices; a merchant on individually negotiated pricing carries none.
Your link sets a cookie that lasts 90 days. Anyone who creates a company within that window is attributed to you. Opening the link again restarts the 90 days.
A visitor may open your link and then someone else's. The signup goes to the last link opened before it. Not the first, and not both.
Their account is not deleted and they stay attributed to you. Months without an active plan owe nothing. If the same merchant comes back, the commission resumes and the first-year clock continues from the original date instead of starting over.
A merchant who installs the HelpVox app straight from the Shopify App Store gets a company without going through our signup form, so there is no cookie to read. Those installs have no affiliate.
Your account is created immediately, but your link attributes nothing until we approve you — usually within a working day. While the programme is small we read every application.
We pay against an invoice, so we need your billing details — registered name, company number, address and an account. You fill them in on your own dashboard; until they are there the commission keeps accruing but cannot be paid. We pay once what is waiting reaches €50; smaller months carry forward. Amounts are net of VAT.
Then there is nothing to apply for. Every business with us gets its own link the moment it signs up, and earns on the same terms — 10% of our profit for the first 12 months of each shop it brings in, 5% after that.
What differs is how you are paid: outside partners get a bank transfer against an invoice, customers get credits on their account. Credits reduce your own invoices to us — they are not paid out in cash and cannot be transferred to another business.
